As the title of this post states ” Don’t Sell Your Equipment on Ebay.” They don’t want your business anyway, why? Because they force you to sell your 30-50 year old equipment as new. 30-180 day money back guarantees don’t work when you selling vintage anything. What has changed in the past year or so??? PARTIAL REFUNDS, that’s what. Three to five sales out of ten I make on ebay end up in scammers getting back a partial payment. Either they claim it came in damaged, I double box and pack with care, or they claim a dirty switch or control, or even a nick or scratch and THEY WANT THEIR MONEY BACK OR ELSE….Threaten bad feedback or they will put in a claim. There is even a check off box when a buyer wants to return something for a “partial refund.” It’s like ebay encourages this behavior, so why not. You pay say $100.00 for something, scratching your head you figure out that if you claim item not as described you can get the abused seller to send you back part of your payment so he doesn’t have to deal with bad feedback, get a strike on his account,  or take back a whole unit that has been smashed by the buyer since he will get his refund regardless. The whole ebay scenario is disgusting now. I personally believe it’s part of the big plan. Think about it, where can you make a decent buck today, unless your one of the chosen few? Ebay made it near impossible for mom and pop business to make a living. Same thing in the street, how many slices of pizza or hamburgers do you have to sell just to pay the rent of the store? And that’s just the rent, if you crunch the #’s you will see it’s near impossible even if your open 24 hours a day. The people in charge are dismantling the American dream which ebay was once part of. You know Socialist society where everyone is equal except a few who are more equal then everyone else. They have to pay for 50% of the people who don’t work and don’t want to work. Why would you work when you can get almost the same amount of money for doing nothing? That’s ebay now, if your brave give it a shot, 50% of the people (Buyers) have learned and figured out how to game the system and legally steal money from sellers. As previously stated, I personally believe it’s part of the master plan since they can stop it anytime they want.
