As the name of my website states “Cash for Stereo is Exactly what I do. If your looking to turn your old audio/stereo/hi fi equipment into money you’ve come to the right place. I travel to NY and NJ.  Looking at some of the other companies/people/stores/shops/etc. online who buy equipment makes me realize how easy I am to deal with. #1 I am soft, not arrogant, I am easy to deal with. #2 You can actually talk to me on the phone(yes I have an answering machine) since your calling a real corded landline phone. I am not always here. I promptly return calls within 24 hours if I miss your call. #3 NO questionnaire’s to fill out about your equipment. #4 I come to you and will travel a reasonable distance for equipment I can use. #5 I have a real appreciation for electronics which has been my life long interest and hobby. #6 I am a real electronics guy, also a licensed ham / amateur radio operator and yes even CB radio in the 2000’s. #7 I pride myself on honesty, if we make a deal, it’s a deal(unless your equipment looks like it was shot out of a cannon into a handball court.) Equipment is not in very good condition if there are major flaws like dents, water damage, rust, missing knobs, etc.  I BUY EQUIPMENT WORKING OR NOT, As long as it’s cosmetically very good. That’s my only requirement, it has to be in at the very least…GOOD Cosmetic condition and complete. I don’t even plug it in to test. As previously stated…WORKING OR NOT. #8 I am flexible as far as time or meeting place. I like to travel before, after, or in between rush hour. Even early on the weekends before the traffic starts. #9 I am courteous, prompt, and treat everyone with respect. I don’t consider pin dots or light scratches flaws on vintage equipment. Light usage wear is acceptable to me and I will never criticize or degrade your equipment. #10 I pay a fair price, no I can’t compete with ebay or a retail establishment but I pay immediate cash and buy “as is.” Your time, energy, and life is important so for many ebay isn’t a viable option. Besides being a load of work the “new” ebay is risky business. Your forced into a 180 day money back guarantee with paypal, you have to pay fees, pack big double and triple boxes, and you have wait for your money hoping you have an honest buyer on the other end. Like I said, it’s not for everyone, you have to have a thick skin and be able to accept aggravation as part of doing business on the “bay.”  I pay 1/3 the average price of completed / sold ebay auctions. That’s not asking price nor highest price, it’s one third of the median price that unit sells for. #11 I am not interested in playing phone tag/email tag, or texting back and forth a bunch of broken English messages. We talk on the phone just like humans did just a few years ago, lol. If I am not sure and have to research price I will call you back within a short time. We come to an agreement, and that’s it. #12 As far as I can tell I am the easiest of the bunch to make a deal with. I am not interested in drama or baby games. We make deal, I come to you with the amount of money agreed upon, I load your equipment into my car, I pay you your cash, and hope to business in the future, and wish you a great day…
