Firstly, Dynaco used vacuum tubes in their units. Many people liked to build their own units. The company also sold preassembled units.  Dynaco sold tube amplifiers, preamplifiers and tuners.  Dynaco began to use transistors. People bought either tube units or transistor units. They were so easy to use and durable.

Secondly, Dynaco made units that evolved over time.  Many people bought different types of components. Some of them were the ST-35, PAS, FM1, MKIII and the ST-70.  The Dynaco Stereo 70 tube amplifier was their most famous model. Other Dynaco favorites were the PAT pre-amp and FM3 tuner..

Lastly, Dynaco had the best user manuals. Hafler sold his business to Tyco. In fact, Hafler left Dynaco company in 1977. He started his own brand. His influence lasted for many years.
