What’s going on with some of these online sites. Craigslist, Ebay, etc…?  I’ll tell you what’s going on, many people have lost faith in online selling and buying. Sure, Amazon, and the like are cleaning up, but what about the others? Everyone depended on ebay to buy pre-owned equipment, parts, vintage this and that. And Craigslist was the go to place for online yard/garage sale items to buy and sell. If it all seems dead, your right it is. Ebay made it so hard for individuals and small business to make a buck. The rules, feedback, warrantees, anti-seller policies, the usual victim…criminal reversal trick, etc. Craigslist has been invaded by spammers or people who hire professional posters. There are NO more good deals to be had on Craigslist in any respect. Many sellers are ebay refugees who abandoned or got kicked off of ebay. They believe they can charge ebayish prices on Craigs, ain’t happening. So Everything is Messed Up. There is no where to buy equipment at a fair price and no where to sell equipment at a profit anymore. My website states I BUY VINTAGE EQUIPMENT, Yet I receive numerous calls and emails to purchase home theaters and surround sound equipment. My site states I BUY EQUIPMENT, yet I receive calls asking if I sell equipment. Also, there has been an increase in requests to FIX equipment…NO WAY. The largest increase in calls have been from Fisherman and Women. How much will you give me, or how much is this worth. They don’t have the time, understanding, or energy to sell on ebay , some even realize the energy, fee, time, and stress is not worth it and they will come out losing money when all is said and done. Everyone knows the deal with Craigslist now, so most buyers/sellers steer clear of that place. Do you want to sell your stereo equipment from the 1960’s and 70’s? Do you want Cash? Do you want a stress free, no drama transaction? That’s me, I buy your old stereo equipment both working or not. As long as it’s cosmetically very good I am interested. Give me a call at 718 698-2428 and let me know the makes and models of stereo equipment you would like to turn into cash. Thank you.
