I buy and pay Cash for Ham, Amateur, CB Radio Base Station Equipment and accessories such as antenna tuners and linear amplifiers. Working or Not, from a system to a whole collection…I am interested. Tranceivers, transmitters, receivers, etc. I buy many types of communications equipment. Old, vintage or new, I am mainly interested in equipment for HOME use. I do buy some mobile equipment but as previously stated my main desire is equipment that plugs into the wall. I buy brands such as Browning, Yaesu, Kenwood, Icom, Johnson, Tram, Collins, Western Electric, Demco, Cobra and many others. I buy equipment both working and non-working as long as its cosmetically good. The communications market is really on the downside these days. There are very few people under the age of fifty who even know what a CB radio is, let along a ham transceiver or linear amplifier. When this generation is gone so will recreational communications since there are no new operators to take the place of the once vibrant airwaves. Sad but true. You can sell the equipment on ebay but that’s a job. It’s not the ebay of years ago. Seller is responsible for many things out of his or her control. 180 day paypal money back guarantee’s, seller fees, packing, shipping, dishonest buyers who nearly always win disputes after they steal proprietary parts from you beloved equipment and sent it back non-working, plus all the stress and work involved let alone risk. That’s what I’m here for, I pay you cash and don’t even plug the equipment in. As long as it’s cosmetically good and complete we have a deal. Most of it needs service at the very least an alignment and bringing that to the few service facilities that are left ends up costing you more then the unit is worth. In fact, you will probably have to ship it to a qualified technician since there are so few left country wide. Again, that’s my advantage…I buy working or not. It’s my hobby and what I can’t fix I use for parts. I pay 1/3 of ebay completed median auction prices. No, that’s not asking prices or the one fake auction filled with shills to up the price. It’s the average price that the unit sells for divided by three. Before you think, holly cow that’s not right. Remember ebay charges fees, they even charge fees on top of your shipping cost, paypal charges fees, and you usually come out behind the 8 ball with shipping also. Then you have to have a weekly or monthly allowance for people ripping you off and returning equipment, and what about packing. Some of these boat anchor sized radios need double and triple packing with quality packing supplies. Some amplifiers take well over an hour to pack.  Also, minus the stress and aggravation dealing with an 85 year old anal buyer who found a pin head sized speck on the face plate and wants to return the whole thing. Many people always use online selling as a reference but they don’t have the energy, know how, patience, time and other skills to pull it off. That’s not meant to be an insult…its extremely difficult to sell online especially selling things that have to work such as electronics. And….there is almost always something wrong or quirky going on with electronic equipment both new and especially old. The buyers of today expect to receive something a half century old that works as new(I’m not kidding.) So if you want to give the ebay or even Craigslist venue a try I sincerely wish you good luck. It’s brutally hard even selling things that don’t have to work such as art or jewelry or clothing. They have set the ebay seller up for failure, all the buyer has to do is click a button(item not as described) and your item is coming back to you at your expense. That is where I get the 1/3 amount from. I rarely even double my money selling things locally or occasionally on the bay. So it’s never a score or a trip to Aruba, lol. Anyway. if you want to sell your equipment without drama, stress, or nonsense give me a call at 718 698-2428. I can’t match online selling prices but I pay cash, am prompt and courteous, and will actually use much of the equipment I purchase for my own station since I am licensed ham radio operator. Call 718 698-2428 and let me know what you have. I will travel a reasonable distance with Cash in hand for equipment I can use.  Hope to hear from you soon! Thank you.
